Meet Us!
My passion for food led me to running my own café for several years before giving in to the demands of a young family. Years later, with fewer commitments I obtained a Diploma in Training & Development (University of Leicester) and wrote and delivered training courses. Through my work I was fortunate enough to live and work in countries like Australia and the US where I got to explore my love for food and further cultivate my knowledge and experience. After years of corporate life, I reached a point where I could finally combine my love for food with my training background to do something I am truly passionate about.

These courses were designed using the years of experience I had in training and understanding how people learn and the best way to structure a course. The meals taught and not just recipes put together, but each has a specific learning that is delivered to the participants. My aim is not to just teach recipes but to teach helpers how to cook. This is one of the reasons why my courses have been successful, because participants walk away with an understanding of what they have just learnt and not just a recipe.

I employed my first helper when my daughter was born in 1988 and over the last 20 years that I've been training helpers, I have become familiar with the challenges they face, many of which are similar in nature. When I produced the courses I used this 20 years of experience to create modules that would gradually build up their skills and address the difficulties they experience when making the transition into cooking western food and upkeeping quality and hygiene standards.

The last 2 years have been an amazing and delightful journey for me as I have learnt so much more from running the courses, fine-tuning them along the way. Most of all get to an enjoyable time with my students in class. I could not think of anything else I'd rather be doing than this. I am committed to the improvement of their skills and in bringing better food to the homes of my customers. I hope you will be one of them and give me the opportunity to train your helper.
